We’ve found the most successful paid social ads are ones that straddle the line between professional and UGC. Too polished, and the prospective customer knows it’s an ad and will scroll right by. Too organic, and we lose trust.

So for a portion of our remarketing campaign, we tested over 30 UGC images and videos to understand if any trends appeared. We found that up close photos of these chips performed well so we decided to create some more professional versions.

Also since we utilize a lot of UGC testimonial videos at the top of the funnel, we knew we needed some professionally shot content to increase trust in the brand.
